2006 NGC MS-69 First 50.000 Struck 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin

The 2006 release of the US Silver Eagles celebrated the 20th anniversary of the American Eagle Program, which first introduced these coins as the US official silver coin in 1986.

Each US Silver Eagle contains 1 Troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver and carries a denomination of one dollar. Featuring the designs of Lady Liberty and the Heraldic Eagle, these coins are timeless symbols of American patriotism and a proud part of the nation's coinage history.

At you can acquire 2006 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coins, among the first 50.000 coins struck in the US Mint. They were sealed and certified by NGC as MS-69 samples.

The Design

On the obverse, Lady Liberty is enveloped in the American flag with oak and laurel branches in her arm. As she walks toward the sun's rays, Liberty extends the other arm to welcome new immigrants to the new land.

The word "LIBERTY," the motto "IN GOD WE TRUST," and the year of mintage are also part of the design.

The reverse Heraldic eagle design starts with 13 stars, representing the Thirteen Original Colonies. The Eagle has the National Shield on its chest, arrows and olive branches in its talons, and a banner with "E PLURIBUS UNUM" in its beak.

The coin's face value, weight, metal content, and purity are inscribed as "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "1 OZ FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR."
