2025-(P) NGC MS-69 One of First 50,000 Issued Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin

The United States Mint continues to innovate its flagship silver bullion series with the release of the 2025-(P) Eagle Privy 1 oz American Silver Eagle Coin—the second ever bullion American Silver Eagle to feature a privy mark. Building upon the momentum of the 2024 Star Privy release, this 2025 edition introduces a striking Eagle Privy on the obverse, enhancing both the design and collectible appeal of the world’s most popular silver coin. This the first-ever Silver Eagle with two different Eagle designs on the coin, a "Double Eagle" Silver Eagle.

Privy marks, small and intentional design additions that differentiate certain bullion releases, have grown in popularity since the early 2010s. Though common among other world mints, the U.S. Mint only recently entered the privy space—making each release a historic milestone. This year’s release introduces a bold new Eagle Privy and reflects a unique collaboration between the U.S. Mint and Nice Gang, creators of the mobile RPG Eight Era, to bring physical collectibles into the hands of modern gaming fans.

Each coin in this listing has been graded MS-69 by NGC, one of the world’s most trusted grading authorities, and labeled as “One of the First 50,000 Issued”—a special designation confirming its early release status. These examples were struck at the Philadelphia Mint, as indicated by the (P) notation, and are part of a strictly limited mintage of just 500,000 coins.

The Design

The obverse of the coin presents Adolph A. Weinman’s celebrated “Walking Liberty” design. Lady Liberty strides confidently toward the rising sun, wrapped in the American flag, carrying oak and laurel branches—symbols of strength and peace. This iconic design is enhanced by the new Eagle Privy mark, a detailed eagle head profile placed near the rim on the right, commemorating the spirit of American freedom.

The reverse, designed by Emily Damstra and introduced in 2021, features a powerful Bald Eagle in flight, wings outstretched as it descends onto a branch. This dynamic, modern representation of America’s national bird is surrounded by inscriptions reading “UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,” “ONE DOLLAR,” “1 OZ. FINE SILVER,” and the national motto “E PLURIBUS UNUM.”

An NGC MS-69 “One of First 50,000 Issued” Coin

Graded MS-69 by the Numismatic Guaranty Company (NGC), this coin is nearly flawless, with only minuscule imperfections visible under magnification. Its “One of First 50,000” designation ensures that it was submitted for grading from among the earliest coins struck—making it especially desirable for collectors looking for premium early strikes.
